WHATS THE SMALLEST LURCHER YOU HAVE OUR HAD

hey all

i was just wondering whats the smallest lurcher you've had for a fox dog (pre ban). i have a pup that i'm bringing on for next season but sounder reckons she'll could be to small . she's 4 months old and only about 17-18in tts. just wondering if anyone had success with a small dog.

i had a 22 inch bull cross bitch did everything pre ban just as good as the bigger dogs and twice as much heart :victory:

jnr i reckon it all depends on how much heart the dog will have ,if it has plenty of fire then you will be ok especially if its anything like its mother

these two i have are 7/8 a mate has two pup and so does have another lad and there twice the size

18'' to shoulder bitch , 3/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington ... did have pics on here already of her somewhere , she wasnt an all out fox dog , but did take the odd one when needed , was quick of mark , stuck behind well , good on the turn ect , and wasnt affraid to get stuck in ... like i said wasnt an all out fox dog but didnt back down from one when faced .

My dogs sister was about 21 inches to the shoulder she was wrecking foxes no trouble but she was very well built. Its alot to do with the build as well as the height.

well here if they can't do it on there own no good to me dogs doubled up
