aaronpigeonplucker 32
if its a resevoir then there are two opsitons. 1.go out in a boat and fish teams of 3 flies on a floating line for trout when there is a ripple on the surface with a jerky retrieve. or fish a single large lure on a sinking line and fish slow. 2. find the arear where deep water is closest to the bank and fish a fly cast out as far as you can. usually a lure fished deep. or fish a spinner as far out as you can. bank fishing is hard on revesiors but cheeaper than getting a boat and if you find deep water close to the bank then you'll be in buisenss. best of luck Quote Link to post
dartmoorman 0
Bit later on, a team of three flies. Size 12 buzzer on the point, size 14 Diawl Bach middle dropper, size 14 Buzzer top dropper. Fish it on a floating line with little movement using a leader of abour 15 - 20 feet, or as long as you are comfortable with. Use flourcarbon - The fish cant see it! ---------TIGHT LINES-------- Quote Link to post

aaronpigeonplucker 32
spinning into deep wate is good with a meps or roblex. if your water holds very large trout then trolling with plugs can be affective too. or fish from the bank with a 2 oz lead paternoster rig with a lareg lob worm or a bunch of small red worms impaled on a size 10 hook. or try this http://www.fishnorthdevon.com/images/fishi...er_no_1_rig.jpg Quote Link to post
