gnasher16 30,592
Sorry to continually be negative about Khan but he is a fraud of the highest calibre, typical Warren material.Beating a hasbeen at a weight he never fought at isn't a sign of greatness. Try telling that to hatton and calzaghe because they seem to be loved for it !.....difference is they get away with it in world title fights not little comeback fights like khan just had......can you imagine hatton or calzaghe ever taking a risk like khan just took....as ridiculous as it sounds khans career at 22 would have been over had he lost........calzaghes career was fraudulantly manufactured for 12 years !....but hey good ol joe boy. If the public want to build khan up into anything more than a promising prospect then thats up to them.....personally i think he is being rushed along far too quick.....he is improving but by no means the finished article and wont be for a while yet.....the reason he looks amateurish at times is because only a few years ago he was an amateur and thats what needs remembering. Spot on I think people expect too much too soon from the young lad,At 22 he is a boxer learning his trade, even the great Sugar Ray Leonard,( another cockey fighter ) didn't win his first World title until he was 23. And Kahn is no sugar ray. But the lad has talent, and he is getting better with each fight, he WILL be world champion, Warren will make sure of it, as for why everyone seems to hate him, Why is that? have any of you met him? Seems to me that he lives quite a clean living respectable life, i'd rather my boy grew up with him as an idol, than some up their own ass footballer like Joey barton. gnasher16 30,592
why do people have to tear some one down just because they do well for them selfs! well done khan! cheers hyperion Personally i think people hate khan for a number of reasons, only one of which makes any sense to me. He is a boxer not our personal friend who gives a shit if he is not a nice kid,or cocky and arrogant we dont have to be pals with him just watch him box.....and theres no disputing that from a boxing point of view he has that vulnerability and power that creates exciting fights.....just like nigel benn had who i believe khan is a mirror image of at this stage of his career. If your a boxing fan you must surely enjoy the exciting fights he has been in.....if your a character assessor or your gullible enough to believe hype then thats your fault not his. If you dont like him because he is asian then nail your colours to the mast and say so !....its the only reason that makes any sense to me as from a boxing point of view he is an exciting young kid. Bryan 1,362
I don't think you have to be racist to dislike Khan
Halfinch 51
I don't think you have to be racist to dislike Khan No, you don't, but you do need to know someone to be able to make a honest decision as to weather or not you like them. And i guess most racist would probably dislike him based on their own beliefs.
smelly dog 16
Every man, women and child that gets into a ring to box is 100% better, than the people stood around the ring shouting what to do and never having the courage to do it themselfs.
