Air Arms S410 .177 Classic, Hawke Nite Eye Scope, alone in my Shogun in Three fields for 1 hour shoot, great night!!!!

Got one from below looking uphill, 40 yrds head shot. Drove straight through a farm gate flicked on full beam and had two 30 yrd'ers straight away sitting next to each other. Superb! Bagged 9 in total bust stung more, shame. All the same it was fun. All my mates went to the pub, I stayed out and reeped the results.

Here's another good nights shoot, through colly fields and open grass land over several hours with me mate and a spot light/ shogun ( which got pretty stuck at one point!)

nice one mate but gut your rabbits in the field to stop it tainting the meat . . . apart from that welldone :clapper:

How do? gutting animals at a shoot feeds all the other animals guts and end trails are always gone in the morning.Iwas on a shoot with a mate he did a dump in a bush without burying it, (i said he was out of order) it was gone the next morning..................

What I mean is that I hit more but didnt kill them, they slunk off to burrows to die a lonely death. Have to get a head or chest shot for out right kill, anywhere else they will get away

cornish cross hairs, dont make a bad start to the site, practise more as one persons posts were all deleted because he was talking about hitting animals and wounding them. i cant stress how important it is to practise more before you hunt. its horrible and inhumane way for any animal to die so before youre next hunt make sure you can hit on target 4 times out of five to avoid injuring your quarry and it dying slow and painfuly.

Ye that makes sense, but a air rifle to a foxes head in a snare should be fine the Aaron.
