More kills

Air Arms S410 .177 Classic, Hawke Nite Eye Scope, alone in my Shogun in Three fields for 1 hour shoot, great night!!!!

Got one from below looking uphill, 40 yrds head shot. Drove straight through a farm gate flicked on full beam and had two 30 yrd'ers straight away sitting next to each other. Superb! Bagged 9 in total bust stung more, shame. All the same it was fun. All my mates went to the pub, I stayed out and reeped the results.

What I mean is that I hit more but didnt kill them, they slunk off to burrows to die a lonely death. Have to get a head or chest shot for out right kill, anywhere else they will get away

cornish cross hairs, dont make a bad start to the site, practise more as one persons posts were all deleted because he was talking about hitting animals and wounding them. i cant stress how important it is to practise more before you hunt. its horrible and inhumane way for any animal to die so before youre next hunt make sure you can hit on target 4 times out of five to avoid injuring your quarry and it dying slow and painfuly.

I appreciate that even veteran huntsman will not always be dead on target,I am not glorifying the fact that a few where hit and crawled away, I would have liked to dispatch them with a second shot but got into the under growth.

I have practiced and my gun is hitting a close grouping on target.

It was a great nights shoot and I am more than happy with the results. Because of the limitations of the kinetic energy from air rifle within the legal limit anything other than central mass and head wont kill, I stressed this earlier, I don't want to wound any prey animal that is against anyone's morals.

Thanks for all the praise from all!
