mole control??????????????

Recommended Posts

It depends on the situation, is it a domestic small garden, large farm or golf course. Some pesters charge a fixed price, per mole or per trap, I myself charge a fixed price after a comprehensive survey and take into account the time I am going to spend there each day, fuel and how many visits its going to take. It all depends on what your time and skill is worth and how busy you are, its trial and error to start but dont sell yourself short just to get the work.

£2-£3 a mole

So someone 5 miles down the road from me calls me in to catch a mole in their garden. I'm going to turn up, set up traps, and then go back the next day and pick up the traps after catching the mole.

You'd do all that for three quid?

Or what about a farm with moles in a field of silage grass. You are expecting to catch 7 or 8 moles over two days, using 15-20 traps (which will cost £60+), you'd do all that for three quid a mole would you?

Think about it.

People aren't going to give their prices out over the internet, especially if its to help an ameteur with no insurance to take the food from their mouth.

You can bump the thread as much as you like. If you go to the trouble of doing a search on this section, you will find that this has been discussed several times - and you are unlikely to get that kind of commercially sensitive information just like that.

If you've got mole traps that only cost £1.50 each, I don't think the moles will have much to worry about.

I've just got in from checking 120 traps, and my feet are aching, so I'll let your 'prat' comment pass for now.......

£1.50 a trap !! "real quality" Would love to know what these "couple of tricks" you have are, you just have to catch them not entertain them with "tricks", but with inferior quality traps it may be the better option..

Don't put any pic's up on my account, you don't have to prove anything. I would urge you however not to use inferior quality traps in the interest of mole welfare and professionalism, even though you are an amateur please be responsible.
