well done john on catching the best pike of all time. this wasnt caught from a trout water where pike put on artifical amount of weight. this fish come from the broads on the thurne weighed in at 45lb 8 oz this is the greatest pike ever caught .i cant put a picture up as not that good on computers maybe someone else can

thats one hell of a fish would like to see a pic of that as never seen one over 26lb befor but well done to that man

Wow 45lb is some fish. well done on that, must be well happy.

 

Aaron, you do come out with some old cobblers sometimes mate, what do you mean you like the 15lb ers??? are they a different breed or something? with fishing the bigger the better mate.

god what a fish if i caught one half that weight i would be a happy bunny

 

the biggest pike i have had was less than a quarter of the weight of Johns fish

 

mind you that was whilst fishing for Trout with a size 10 Gold Ribbed Hares Ear on a 5lb tippet
