An Eighty Four man was sentenced Friday to probation and ordered not to reside with any pets for two years after pleading guilty to killing and eating a woman's cat. Stanley Sebetich, 38, of 3 Oak Lane, Apt. 3R, pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals before Washington County Judge Paul Pozonsky. In exchange for his plea, Sebetich was sentenced to the Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the first 3 months on intensive supervision and ordered to pay $2,500 in fines. Sebetich also will not be permitted to live in a residence with pets for two years. Sebetich was arrested for killing and eating a woman's cat at 69 W. Hallam Ave., Washington, on May 6, 2007. According to court records, Sebetich cut the cat's throat in the bathtub, skinned the animal, cut it up and cooked it on the stove.
