snareman 3
I also noted him selling copies of the wooden Victor Gopher Trap last week as rat and squirrel traps on eBay - totally non approved spring traps for use of course - to the unsuspecting public. Shameful really. OTC why don,t you all contact defra, and alert them to the inferior trapping and snaring products that he is selling, or contact one of the national tabloids , as i,m sure they would love a good true story , about these products causing cruelty to animals . they would send in an under cover reporter , and i,m sure it would promt the authorities to take the proper action against him , and shut him down. or the lads could pay him a wee visit at the next fair where he is selling his stuff , and guess what , ask him nicely to refund your money with a bit friendly perswasion . know what i mean. OldTrapCollector 377
The so-called squirrel trap he was selling last week is not legal for use as it has not been approved by DEFRA OTC Edited March 27, 2009 by OldTrapCollector Quote Link to post
sidebyside 0
Most of the stuff from this supplier is imported from China, it is cheap copies of the real thing, its been going on for years. Mostly substandard materials used in the manufacturer. Edited March 14, 2009 by sidebyside Quote Link to post
garye 0
Hi, I am a new member and have just fallen for the Underwood trap. I purchased a supposedly galvanised fox trap through ebay. It arrived three weeks late and was not the trap that was advertised. it was damaged beyond repair and neither galvanised nor the same design in the ad. The mesh used to make it was flimsy and easily bent, more like chicken wire. Utter rubbish. Offered a refund but i am not impressed. Quote Link to post
