Born Hunter 17,783
Sticking at least one in on the shoot, two if we can get enough pipe. Would rather use pot than plastic, asked around and i can't seem to get my hands on any. Anyone got any suggestions? Also i was speaking to a mate about them and he was told by one of his digging mates to use the top of a wheelie bin for the bed, anyone else do the same? Quote Link to post
staffadale 0
albion concrete products do 9" pipe we had a lorry load last season but your local builders yard should be able to get them. as for plastic ovens or dens i would always try and use bricks or blocks as they retain scent better and plastic lids drip wet with condensation Quote Link to post

Guest miller1989
Well we found a nice fallen down wall with no livestock near and no earths and it was fine to use the stone from the wall, this also has a stream running alongside it so another good reason to put and artificial there its going to be roughly 30 meters in total today we started it by doing the first 15meters dug out a 3ft wide 2 1/2 ft deep and layed in the sides which are all stone and layed all our slabbs over and then the hail and winds arrived so called it a day after backfilling over the slabs its looking great so far and hopefully by next season be some good action for the pups. Also its curved in a few directions and straight in others so hoping to add 2 kitchens and maybe a 3rd depending on how big we are going to make it.I cant explain the shape but i will take photos and put a few up later in the week!
