beno 0
Hi I am after a new scope for my cz 452 at the moment I’ve got a hawke 4x40 on it is ok at short range stuff, but when I am trying to hit rabbits out at 60 to 100 yards there no chance just cant see them clearly. I was think of getting a variable scope something up to 9x possible 12x what are your thoughts on the matter. Thanks Ben Quote Link to post

Thanks Ben Just so happens I have one of these available right now... http://www.deben.com/optics/riflescopes/varmint_2.php The 4-16x44 version and sunshade, about 3 weeks old so virtually brand new, unmarked, box, instructions, got it as a temporary for my HMR... The very scope on the gun....also did this for me when I strapped it on the HMR...100 yards... Sensible offers can secure it!!! Edited March 9, 2009 by Deker Quote Link to post

Was simply waiting until I could get a deal on another scope!!! They are ok though, that's why I bought it, I have the 3-12x44 version on my .22LR Quote Link to post
the Verminator 0
i think that having variable power is very handy, i have got a bit too much tough, 8-32X44, at 75 yards a rabbits head and chest fills the scope. having about 20 mag would be ideal for at 100 yards. Quote Link to post

mj robson 8
Beno, Simmons do a good range of variable scopes that won't break the bank. I have one on both my .22 (WTC 3.5-10x50) and .17hmr (WTC 4-14x44) and they do the job. Well worth a look. Mark. Quote Link to post
