THAT is the problem with Staffies, they have a bad name because people are narrow minded about the breed. Staffies are a wonderful breed, loyal, loving, GREAT with children, known for their effectionate nature, generally they are rubbish guard dogs, they would rather lick you to death than bite you. The problem with most of the powerful dog breeds is that people breed and breed them for money, no thought goes into genetic temperments, therefor people are breeding crap/unstable dogs............................blame the shitty breeders and the bad owners NOT the breed. How can you blame bad breeding? The problem with the breed imo is that in this day and age people dont know how to train or be dominant. people that say "it's sad'' to clip the back end of a dog, and let them stay on the couch and allow the dog to totally own the owner is the problem, especially when you throw in a staffy with a fighting background. It was in the new's a few week's back- A staffy take's the face off a 3 month old baby that was left alone without an adult being there is totally insane I mean i wouldnt even trust Anydog alone with a child let alone a staffy . It's not the breed's fault it's the handler's fault that buy them to look 'Ard
ABDog 0
especially when you throw in a staffy with a fighting background.Such a dog has no place in todays society. It is irresponsible for breeders to produce them and plain stupidity for people to knowingly take them into their homes. It's not the breed's fault it's the handler's fault that buy them to look 'Ard And not the breeders fault for producing a dog with zero regard for temperament and then selling it to a dickhead? I'm sure this particular debate has raged across the 'net (and beyond) for years and will continue to do so . . . . poor breeding practice will continue, as will the dollar before the dog, as will dickheads buying socially irresponsible dogs (and innocent people being sold completely the wrong dog because of naivety and a good sales pitch). I take it you dont like this breed. i have a staffy who is the the best do i have ever owned and definetly the most friendly. But he does have his down point when this dog farts  he cleans the room out.
ABDog 0
I take it you dont like this breed. Why's that?I've said nowt against any breed.. just poor breeding practice and dickhead owners. Got nothing against any breed in particular (well, I don't see the point in the Cavalier King charles, but that's not the point )..
