Cold Ethyl 63
any luck geting the dogs back have you got them back did the police go round? the police are crap , not even a call back Speak to the superintendant then by law if they are chipped they must remove them and return them to you no matter what as long as you have the paperwork to prove the dogs are chipped to your name Quote Link to post
lurcher123 3
Good luck in getting them back but you must act fast before he moves them on or hides them elsewhere. But i do agree with others he needs a fecking good kicking so he will think before he does it again i think he has already done it tbh , i have that sinking feeling , and the abusive call from his mother kinda confirmed it but im appealing to anyone of you who may be offered her or hear of one turning up in rescue etc to please please please help, the bonus is they are both chipped, but my main worry is she will have been bred from and it is true in fact that he has bred her Hello, unfortunately a microchip is not proof you still own the dog, this will just prove you once did own it and registered it to you! As he may claim "you could not find the papers when you sold/gave the dog to him and would sought them out in the future", (just as being registered on a log book for a car don't make you the legal owner of it,) just responsible for it. Get a solicitor to right him a strong letter stating you intend court action!!! (this should not cost you much) this may have more action than the threat of police, GOOD LUCK. Quote Link to post
Guest little lurcher
they are registered as stolen at petlog so anyone trying to change ownership will be informed they are dealing with a stolen dog as a word of warning to those of you whom do chip , please upgrade and write yearly to inform you are still in ownership of dog , also im now planning on doing dna profiles on all dogs here its approx £15 and can be used as proof of ownership Quote Link to post
