Hello, what breed of dog is the small black one, looks like a patterdale x whippet/greyhound?

 

He's a 3/4 Whippet 1/4 Bedlington from good working lines on both sides..................

I have a pure working whippet bred by Darren young. Great dogs for ferreting. Your one looks very well muscled up. Thanks for getting back so quick. like your photos. A member called "Keeps" has some very, very good photos of her dog and ferrets, worth a look at. topic, back out with Nula.

 

His sire is Mike Brown's "Glen strike while the irons hot" a working whippet and the dam is from Nimrodel Gutch common lines. I always read "Mrs Keeps" threads they are always brilliant and action packed, I admire people who actually get out there and work their animals and the photography brings the thread to life giving you a insight to how the day actually was with some of the catches, and some of the misses.

Their used to be a lot of controversie about his dogs and their make up, people saying that his dogs had some sort of bull in there someware. All his dogs do seem to be big and strong. ? Did you know that he was involved in pit bull fighting years ago.

 

Whatever the mix is he's doing something right..................................
