Hannah4181 260
Took the little man out again today with a friend of mine and his ferrets, we netted a couple of holes at each warren but left most open so spider could get some bolters. He missed the 1st 2 as they ran up the hedgerow, however as if by instinct he then positioned himself inside the hedgerow and managed to turn the the next bunny out onto the open plough, we were in a corner of a field with hedgerows either side, so the bunnies ran across towards the other hedge. Spider soon got into the swing of it and managed 4, i was so so pleased with him as it's only the 3rd time he'd been out and had proper runs. With each 1 he caught he got more confident and his turns sharper, retrieved them all, although sometimes took his time! I ended on a high after 4, as i didn't want to do to much with him as he's only young still. Pictures are rubbish as i was too excited to worry about my photography!! Quote Link to post

Hannah4181 260
Excellent! there's nothing better in my opinion than watching a young dog going about his business............... Very true, and my god i never imagined it could be this addictive! I keep hugging him tonight, all the work as pups seems worthwhile when they do you proud. . . . . . . . . especially when your out with a doubter! Kylos balls have just started to drop and my god he is p1ssing me off, he is being such a little git, pushing boundries, ignoring commands and stressing me out, i have just seperated from my partner so i'm not sure if he is picking up on my stress but i really hope he levels out cos he is a bloody nightmare! Yeah i think so, and he got a myxy 1 the other day whilst walking. . . . but in fairness my friends bull dog could have caught that! I want to give him a couple of runs on the lamp soon, just keeping it short, sharp, positive trips out whilst he's still young. Quote Link to post
