My friend Scottish lass is also yapping about getting a new camera. And it just makes you think how cameras have come on since this picture was taken at my granny and grandads wedding . I have some good pics but i use my phone . within two minutes and we can have a pic off our cameras or phone straight on to the comp or paper. wow technology hey . . well come on show us your pics old or new and what were they taken on. They are so simple to use and the results can be spectacular. No more sending of pics to "Trueprint" and waiting for the snaps to arrive back two weeks later only to find you have missed your intended shot. With the digital technology the finished picture appears in front of you and if you are not happy with it then just snap another. In granny and grandads day it was a mammoth undertaking to get just one shot like that picture. sue 1 Posted March 6, 2009 Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 Trace my dad used to develop his own pictures when we were kids ,the 2" squared negatives i think that was the size .technology has come a long way since then but im still useless at photoing anything . Old pictures fascinate me,the fashions of the times can only bring laughter when you look back at them ,I will have to take a visit up to my parents and raid the photo albums and post a few Quote Link to post Share on other sites

scottishlass 57 Posted March 6, 2009 Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 I remember the camera's my mam had with the wee windy on thingy and you had to wait till the green light came on so the flash would gan off.Anyone have a projector i remember looking at slides of my grandad's holiday to canada i must have looked at them over and over again,i think its still under the stairs at my mum's but the blub has went.One day i will get a new blub and darg it out and have a look for old times sake here is an old pic from when i was about 5 And now what camera's can do now Quote Link to post Share on other sites
