John-B 4
I wouldn't pay to shoot, only thing I pay for is when i'm shooting clays at the local club, deffo wouldn't pay to shoot airguns. Quote Link to post

Timelord 0
I'm in full agreement with John-B here after all you may pay to shoot on this land and when you get there you might find it's been shot to piece by other shooters I would do a yell.com search for farms in your area and sent out polite requests for permission to shoot pests on their land. Always send a SAE so the land owner can reply and fill in your permission sheet. It's a probability game here so let's say you send 10 permission sheets out and you only get one positive reply, then in that case it's only cost you the price of one stamp to get that permission. Most people can afford to lose 10 stamps which is better than annual fees deducted via direct debit Quote Link to post

John-B 4
a few months back me and Col-g off this site had no land, knocked a few doors and got some permission, now we have most of the farms surrounding, it would take us a few days to get round all our permissions, just be patient and go knock on some doors. there is even 2 permissions we haven't even set foot on yet. Jayd 0
£125 a year to shoot? I suppose it's only £10 a month, but I'd be interested to know how accurate the quote is "You're never more than 10 miles away from a farm on our scheme"... Quote Link to post
