andy s410c 61 Posted March 6, 2009 Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 Over hyped & over priced IMO....Went out on THE CHIEFTAN in 2004,36 hour trip.Waste of £200,caught more & bigger fish out of Hartlepool. Fishing off Dogger Bank,wrecking not loosing any gear most of the time ,the bloke wasn't to keen to have you in the wheelhouse to see what was going on,took the trip money into him did'nt get a thanks,kiss ya arse or nowt dropped us off,didn't ask if we enjoyed it,would we be back,even a good bye . It was?is a monopoly to print ££££ & lots of it ...I know lads who've went out with him & had a fantastic trip however i found the bloke a bit strange,little or no interaction with us,his deckie wanting to fillet your FEW fish for a extra £5 when you've already paid ££££ . Even if he had said "not a good trip lads here's £20 back" or even a thankyou i would've had another go but the bloke wanted your cash & off the boat & then next lot of hopefulls on asap......
