Pennymeadow Whippets 0 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 They are not the be all & end all of working whippets mate its just they do what it says on the can as you know i have Sooty Sam bred whippets but i have also worked Oakbark/Shalfleet/Savilepark/Stepaul/Gorwynne/Walkabout to mention a few all with varying ability these breeders DON'T WORK their bloodlines, fashion is something that comes & goes & that does not stand the test of time Sooty Sam was born 13 AUG 1991 almost 18 years ago the stock that are advertised as Sooty Sam are mostly grandchildren or GRT or GRT GRT grandchildren the last litter sired by this dog was in 2000 & IMO Lord Of The Knight stock who was Sooty Sam's grandson produce better allround working whippets so that must be progress not fashion very few other lines have been bred specifically for working only.
