for woodpigeon i prefer RWS superdomes, all depends on what calibre and what gun though really, woodies are hard to take out at the best of times.

a shot to the head with and pellet will kill but thats hard to do so i would go for Air Arms field. they are a big pellet so if your shot hits them in the neck or upper breast then it should take one out.

Most Domed Quality made pellets will stop and Kill legal Air Gun Quarry

 

A lot depends on what is accurate and consistant in your Rifle

 

As often suggest pop along to a local Air Gun club and do a bit of trading with others

to see what works best in your gun

Ok cheers for that, your not wrong had a few misses going for head-shots, but have hit a couple near their chests
