Fitting Bipod to HW77k

Hi all,

 

I've got this bipod below, and was wondering if it could be fitted to the HW77k somehow.

 

 

Any suggestions?

does your gun have a sling??

 

if it does your bipod fitting will fit into the hole where the sling stud is fitted.

you will have to drill a hole in to the stock, then put the swivle skrew in it. thats the same thing that you have for a sling, after that you just unskrew the bipod and put the two pins thorught the swivle skrew(the hole in it) and there you go.

 

is that the rock mount bipod?

Looks Like The Deben Bipod To Me,

Get a Small Wood Screw And Drill a Hole In Your Stock Then Screw It In, Then You Tighten The Bipod To It!

Hi all,

 

Thanks for the advice. Bought it on eBay, think someone else has bought it from HK to be honest, then sold it on. Is it worth mounting it temporarily to the underlever, as that's where the sling forward mount is? Also, any ideas on a gunbag that will fit it in with the bipod still attatched?

It Should Do Mate Yeah!

Ive Got Mine On And High Mounts Then My Scope & It Just Fits In, So You Should Be Fine With Putting It In!

Mine doesn't. Won't go all the way in with the bipod mounted on the underlever. Am I better off looking for a hard case, or just detatch and reattatch the sling every time I go to use it?

Or Buy a Different Cheapish Gun Bag That Fits Your Gun Maybe ?

i think it should be ok on a hw77 there isnt much recoil on them anyway and they use bi pods on rimmys so should be ok Edited March 6, 2009 by hw97
