cant see why this topic went on to challanges and matches it was about blood lines and it was doing well as well,anyway cant be bothered with matches people dont turn up make excuses like its not on permision and my dog is pregnant or lame

i just find it funny no threads were started like this dec/jan when the hares were at there best to me it dont show utter confidence in there dogs at all i'l match anyone in june/july and slip,coarse,kill it is not sporting in march

good blood and good training/conditioning will OVERALL out peform any thing else, theres always exceptions to the rules, always has been ,always will be ,thats genectics for you

To a layman this and the above answer by carp777, seem to make the most sense, i do admit however that I know nowt I guess its really more of a question of how much you gonna spend to win and also possibly most importantly how much effort goes into training and conditioning (which I imagine is time consuming ), good lines, good knowledge, time training and entering properly seems to be the way to do it, just my take on it like, atb Richard

Look I dont want a drawn out argument with you.I am guessing by your posts, you are a young lad probably a traveller,would I be right?If you think running hares from April onwards is morally justifiable then thats your decision.

Just don't try and justify it as schooling a pup,You can do that in September ,October.There are no hares around me anymore because Travellers from the nearby site used to walk the fields in Spring and Summer,kicking up pregnant Does and Leverets.

And before anyone accuses me of bias against travellers ,I grew up with them,went to school with them, ran dogs with them ,and a couple of them are lifelong friends,just telling the facts.

If you dont find killing leverets and pregnant does distasteful,how about killing off next seasons sport?

yes i am a traveler and you are right i agree withyou about september but i love the sport so much wat els is ther to do untill september i have a pup bing born in ten days time that will be keept to september becase it will be six months old then soory about the spellin never had much schoolin always at work
