Hardfeather 56 Posted May 19, 2006 Report Share Posted May 19, 2006 FK If your dogs are clean in their bed go to a charity shop and buy some old blankets they'll last you longer than straw and there's less chance of any mites being in it.If I have to ever use straw I only use oat straw as its softer but its hard to come by in manageable bales.Wheat starw you should be able to get anywhere in the united kingdom you just haven't looked in the right places.I wouldn't use shavings with your springers they'll be feckin everywhere Quote Link to post Share on other sites
