Smoking Rats

I've nearly got my Smoker sorted, there's a Pipe attached to the end but It's a bit wobbly so I've put some Exhaust Putty on there.

 

I'm a bit worried that the Flexi Pipe will melt as the Copper one Isn't that long but time will tell

 

I've only got the one Dog and a 6 Month Pup.. When should I let the Pup come out with me as I don't wanna spoil him? He's still pretty Puppyish!

 

There's a load of loose Hay next to a shallow Stream which I'm gunna try soon.

like to add, the pup will only bomb about so let it just have a run, mine does and i think he's just over 1 year, so if he doesn't stop fecking about he's gonna get the big boot

you'll find that exhaust/heat proof putty will harden and most likely fall out, better off going to car spares shop or salvage yard and getting a metre or so of radiator hose, comes in different diameters, so take the smoker with you, and get one that pushes on tight, if need be, fasten in place with a jubilee clip

take the pup out now, ours is 5 month and he got his first rat on sunday on his first time out. when it bit him it just made him wanna kill it more. all depends how game he is i guess
