On FAC, you will find the limit when they refuse! On SGC, NO specific number, but questions usually start getting asked when you get up to about 20, primarily storage/safety and "is he dealing"??? claybusers al 9
a good thing to do is get joit ownership of the guns then you can use your dads it will save you money as well and you both will have access to each others guns Quote Link to post
martin 332
All I know is,here in Avon & Somerset police area as soon as you have 6 or more firearms(including shotguns)you have to have a Burglar Alarm fitted to your house. At least that is what A&S will have you believe,I am unsure as to whether this is in fact enforceable, but, when I put in for my 6mm BR some time this year I will let you know what they say, because that will take me to their limit.....................Martin. This Just goes to show the different regions opinions....I currently have 8 FAC tools and 3 shotguns sitting in the cabinets...ALL the rifles have moderators....so arguably 16 + the shotguns!!!! No Alarm specified round here!! Quote Link to post

SportingShooter 0
The most I've ever had was when I first had my FAC combined with my SGC. If you include the moderators of the rifles as well thats Four and I had 14 shotguns. Never a question asked, but then I do keep them in a well over the requirements vault style safe and live in a fairly quiet area. I now have 8 Shotty's and the two rifles and mods. Still no questions here though Quote Link to post
