Black ferrets aberdeen area

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Was wondering if there is anyone in the Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire area of Scotland that is selling or will be selling black hob kits? I know they are very rare but I would like to get something as dark as possible, with very few light patches, i.e. maybe a light coloured mask but that's about all. Leave a post on here if you have any info and i'll get in contact.

Cheers,

Had a look on your website and that EU poley is a nice looking ferret. I am just looking for something a bit differnt! I would take a nice silver if thats all i could get but i fancy a really dark hob aswell.

What are you going to mate the jill to?

Eu polecat hobs are massive and certainly more timid than normal ferrets even after you tame them!

You are thinking uk wild polecats, they are generally very big and unhandleable, We have an eu poley hob for the 2 jills, they have all got good natures and are proven parents.

There should also be some silver half angoras thrown they are no different the normal ferret, and will work just as well.

They will be tame and not hand shy but no different to normal ferrets - I have to disagree. Sorry. They will be far more alert and alot faster. I also find that even the half cross's take a bit more handling to bring them to the same level of tameness. They are great animals though and in no way am I putting them down.

Are you talking about eu poleys or angoras here if poleys then yes they are more alert stronger and faster, the angoras are no different from reglular ferrets in nature and stature.
