That's Santa alright, my mentor he has fifty years of experience under his belt.... He has to wear oilskins out ferreting because of arthritis in the hips. the damp ground plays havoc with the condition.... Quote Link to post

Meroman 105 Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 2, 2009 We use locators with a bell attached so we can hear the ferret if it comes out of the burrow in heavy growth... Because we mainly ferret on ditches and some of them are heavy with briar's a rabbit can sneak out of a hole that's not netted but the sound of the bell lets us know.... Quote Link to post
