Got a txt....help I'v a fox problem

Had a txt message from a local shoot captain who is catching up that he has seen eyes near the pen.

 

Must say it was a bit of a surprise, anyway arrangements made but the best for me he said my son who had only been bunny bashing could come as lamp man, oh what it would be like to be 15 again but I digress moving on.

 

First job around the pens to collect birds and store in shed with the four legged friends for company and went into first field where he had seen eyes, yes there they were but in the wood opposite but no interest to calling then they disappeared.

 

Drove round for a bit we did see one but it was skulking away across the field without looking, I think he has been lamped before.

 

We decided to go back to where we had seen the first set of eye but this time through the yard and stay close to the barns that way we wouldn’t stand out as much.

 

There she was, started to call and she actually ran in virtually full tilt to within 50 yards in old money (yes I’m that old to have used it).

 

Picture says it all sorry about the quality but the flash let me down.

 

The thing this one is different for me out of the probable hundreds I have shot is my own flesh and blood was with me and I am very proud.
