BlueCoyote 0
Hi Dont everyone take this to heart ,I have had a few disagreements With some poeple about stock training this picture is to let them know it can be done. Are they all as steady with a field full of bouncing spring lambs. i believe it can be done - i've had dogs stock trained before too - but yeah the thing about the lambs... some dogs might get along chickens and cows but turn around and maul a goat kid, or a duck. Basically i want my dog to leave the world alone unless i tell it otherwise. sniffing is one thing but getting alert and excited and fixating on an animal - even game animals - is something i told like or allow unless thats on the agenda for the day. So far my bulldog pup is coming along great with leaving other animals alone - except for bunnies.... and i mean the ones in hutches. he'll leave them alone only if i chase him off from the hutch. as soon as i turn my back he's back to it again.
