fraggle 4
Was at the shugborough fair and reading the lad who got 2nd then first (well done mate) What dose a judge look for I know the 6 to 12 month would be a hard one to judge as they all mature differntly, but it looked at the show they where going for the larger breed, and the black ones if you get me ether bull x etc etc. Now dont get me wrong i aint bitching about it i only entered her as it cost a quid and thought what the hell lol. heres a couple or pics of my mut. Just wondering thats all what they look for, She spent a lot longer looking at the larger ones, and literly just glanced at mine quick check of one ear and said walk walk back job done. but on an other she spent ages looking at lentgh of back etc etc. Wife was peeved off as she said ours was the cutest there lol. chartpolski 23,046
Your own dog is ALLWAYS the best, especialy according to your missus ! Dog shows are a bit of fun mate, and have absolutely no reflection on a dogs working ability ! Have a fun day out, with other dog lads, and don't worry about a judges opinion !! Cheers. I know its all fun i was just wondering it what they look for, ive had a great pm from some one who has told me some things. She is first working dog and she spent a good couple of days, playing with other pups and me and the mrs had a good day to. Apart from the fish and chip stand yuck it was horrible. only one who had some thing was the pup from some lady lol. Quote Link to post
Tallyho 181
you cant really say what a judge looks for as every judge has there own likeings to what ever breed they are judging , just like we all have our opions on what we think are good looking dogs so do the judges. so its a hard one to say .
