Kay 3,709
I was experimenting with this camera & desperate to get a drop of water on its own & clear , so i thought i had to have the settings on for continious picture taking as it was running water But after i fiddled i found you do 1 pic at a time & have the flash on after i took 2000 pics yesterday & friday & not one came out right, just an example of how i am learning , its very time consuming yes at last i can move on to summat else now

Thanks Martin i was keeping my eye on that big stag he started to walk towards me & i would have backed off if that dog hadnt spookd them & they went over the fence I couldnt believe how lucky i was to see that many in one go & at least 3 males , the females looked a bit podgy as well not sure when they have babys
J Darcy 5,871
Well kay......you got some deer pics at last! I know exactly where that is and sometimes the deer go under the underpass. The fields on the other side of the road are also good places to see them too. A cracking big stag there!!! Those reds are , IMO, the biggest in the UK...you're very lucky.....great pics... I had a feeling the y had gone under one of the 2 bridges but i didnt go the bridge way , it was build when the open cast mine was there , so the roads still there but blocked off either end They use the old road the get across the main roads either side of the island , i couldnt believe my luck & didnt know exactly how many there were untill i was on top of them Odly enough this lot are a lot more skitty than the ones i photograped in 07 , they were graising without a care in the world, it was as if i wasnt there

They ran off into the woodland acrss the field. Kay, if i were you, in future, use photoshop to disguise the backgrounds a little..... it may stop people finding the deer..... once you get yourself an SLR you will love it...you really will....have a look on ebay for a cheap one.....you wont regret it!
