Cornish Cross hairs 0
Hi, I live in near Truro, Cornwall and have permission to shoot on some land loacally but after visiting the same fields a few nights a week the rabbits are becoing shy. The wood I shoot are similar with the pigeons getting even more sensitive. The best rabbit/pigeon farm land is kept for a small group of people who dont like anyone else encroaching. Does anybody know of any farmers/land owners who need help to lay traps, take out ferrel pigeons or keep the rabbits down? any suggestions will be appreciated chaps! Also a member of BASC. SEAN3513 7
try not to go to your permission to much ( tempting as it may be) as j davies says....you have to manage your permission. fine tune your feildcraft, if thats as good as you can get it ,the bunnies will never know youv'e been. don't be suprised that people are protective of their permission as you are well aware, it is hard to come by. i'm affraid you have to put the effort in, do a good job at one and you will get reccomended to others. you may have to visit 40-50 farms to get one permission, no effort-no reward. good luck all the best sean Quote Link to post
