Hi,

Loads of discussions on training at the moment and many different opinions.

I would like to know what people think pups should be doing at different ages.

I have just picked up a 4 month old with a mind of his own(50% saluki) and would like some pointers.

Thanks

yes get your pup indroduced to stock as soon as possible the younger the better take the pup into fields where there are sheep cows ect if it shows any interest correct it by giving a tug on lead with a no command or something like that once you get the pups attention just walk around for a bit then let the pup of the lead if you feel that it has your full attention then take it from there thats how im learning mine just keep doing this every week or so until the pup gets us to being around stock things will soon come right for you hope this helps alb martync
