josh-waddingham 13
hi get yourself a dog and send that in the water job done spot on if yur using a gos, but thses harris hawks are slow and unsteady with dogs most of the time even though sometimes can be very calm with dogs but very easily put off quarry by the smallest of movements from the dog! my mates got a harris and got a patterdale they were alright after about a week after the dog went to close to the perch and the male has give him a little foot been sound ever since mint. my fhh flies really well over my mates working spaniels but when my boxer gets too close to her in the garden she baits at his face as if she wants to kill him even if he quite a way from him lol drives me nuts he wlaked by her once and she footed his back! personally i wouldnt trust any breed of terrier working under my harris hawk as they have the instinct to kill! but each to their own. im not dissagreeing with you, as that woul bd ejumpign to associations which i dont do because for all i know the terrier may have no intention of killing the bird.
