luke 2 Posted February 27, 2009 Report Share Posted February 27, 2009 i think alot of folk get too caught up on what lines breed into there wippet rather than just getting out there and working the dog regardless of what lines he comes from....i think if you put the time into him then he should do the biz no matter if he is show,sotty sam or just some random wippet breed.... the bro,s dog which i have put pics up of,well his dam was a show wippet and the sire a working wippet out of no fancy lines and you can see be the pics of how good he is... personally i think if you put the effort in then no matter what lines the wippet comes from they should do all thats asked from them as i think they have a high prey drive naturally your spot on mate mines are all show lines they have never been to a show but seen a bit of work Quote Link to post

Ireland whippet show this sunday??? i only had a whippet type and the mrs has it now as a pet but it still takes the odd rabbit on her walks ... alot of the neighbours cats have mysteriously disappeared too she gettin on a bit now but it would be nice to put her to something good Quote Link to post
