Doglost Co-Ordinator 4 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 Found - WHITE LURCHER- DARK MARKINGS- Tall dog Found BLK/WHITE GREYHOUND Found BROWN ROUGH COATED TERRIER- NOT A BORDER IF you think any of these dogs are yours PLEASE pm me. Dogs are safe & will be up for rehoming in very near future. I am cross referencing dogs on here & Doglost database All are friendly, not obviously working dogs, not badly marked or scarred. Doglost doesn't say they are 'obviously NOT' working dogs, but 'NOT obviously' working dogs: in other words, they may be but they have no scars etc which would mean they were more likely to be working dogs. The being friendly doesn't come into it, if you see what I mean. Easy to misunderstand I agree, its the placing of the word NOT in the sentence which changes the meaning. I only say 'not obviously workers' as they do not have usual bumps & scars. It could be they are only just been brought on & not been out much, very alert if just pets.
