Ferret carry box making

This is my carry box:

 

Front with two compartments:

This is the same box without the partition in the middle:

A mate of mine made and ingraved this box. He has used it for years before I got it from him. Turned out his ferretsscratched out the original airholes so I made some aluminum grid against it:

Also I recently drilled some extra airholes at the front. So if I lay the box flat when travelling in the car, the ferrets stil get enough fresh air:

The box is quite heavy but also very robust. I can easily sit on it with my 90 kilo's without worrying for the ferret(s) inside it.

 

Hope you can get some ideas out of it.

 

 

Edit: Ow and by the way. I probably got some sand in the camera last weekend when we dug some foxes as the lens won't open fully anymore. So that explains the photo's ;)
