Guest little lurcher
he is my first 1st cross, i have found him very quick to learn and willing , stands up for himself but in a good way, excellent so far on basic commands ( was sitting to hand signals by 10 weeks) taking things slowly with him , so far has only been out once on a lamping trip , he was left in truck to watch , seemed very keen and wanted to get on and do stuff, but settled and waited well when asked, if he is anything like his mum down to ggg grand mum , i have a few problems ahead approx next month, but all went in quick and out very quick , then around 6 weeks afetr that we were ready for work ? seems to have good nose and wants to please and work now , i will prob take him this week ferreting and see how he goes as a day bystander? if some very easy bunnies come ill let him have a go , im a fan of letting them work it out in their own good time , 1 dog might be ready at 7 mths another 18 mths , id rather wait and start when ready and not push Quote Link to post
