taff3915 2 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Share Posted February 24, 2009 what i found on you tube and tried, which did work for me.was remove the hard drive, turn your console on, remove the aerial scart wrap the console in a towel listen to the console the fans will pick up speed then after a few mins it will cut out(no sound at all from the console) remove the towel switch the console off re attach hard drive and scart lead then start the console up in the normal manner. as i said it worked for me check it out on youtube if you want to see it done mate.
