Your fail mention that for it to be lawful each RIFLE has to have a provision for a moderator .

 

 

You still have not told everyone you were threw off bbs ! EG. giving out information likely to cause someone to lose their ticket . That time you said it was ok to shoot things not specified on FAC conditions.

This is the point people failed to notice on the BBS. I will reiterate it so the blind and stupid, such as yourself, can understand it.

 

The point was made about needing a condition for fox to shoot them with a rimfire. My point was that if you have a straight-up rimfire ticket, which says vermin, then you can't really be prosecuted for shooting a fox, as it is generally considered to be vermin. Now, people argued that this is inherently wrong as various guidance etc says fox is licensed separately. This is a valid point and at no point did I disagree. BUT if you ONLY have a rimfire on your ticket with a vermin condition, and you shot a fox, then you cannot be prosecuted because:

 

1. No document says what vermin is - most people consider fox to be vermin.

2. It does not reference any definition, or the HO guidance.

 

If you've never been told that vermin excludes fox, they would lose in a court of law. That was my point, 100%. I never attempted to mislead, or give advice to anyone, I merely wanted to point out that there is ambiguity to this, and this is the other point of view.

 

And as you probably noticed by my reply to your flat-out lie on the BBS, I'm not actually kicked off there.

 

Now, on the subject of moderators... I will check this to be 100% sure, but in the meantime, broadly I agree with you and this is what my post meant. Sorry if it wasn't particularly clear, but then your brain cell only works part time...

The Problem is, and the whole point is, that whilst every Police region is happy to list Vermin on a .22LR, there are many Police regions that positively refuse to allow Fox on a .22LR. AMBIGUITY abounds...there is NO definition that has been tested..this debate rages and will continue until someone is prosecuted or simply has the balls to challenge the definitions and a president is set!!!

whats going on ? cant believe all those that dont even know the basics on fac and non fac if the mod was bought for an airgun and is to be sold for the same whats the problem,i have bought a sak for an airgun from my local gunshop i wouldnt usually post a reply but i think everyone should let the lad sell it,at least its gettin bumped again,lol.

I class fox as vermin and have shot fox's with airgun's and will shoot a fox with a rimfire when i get the opportunity all this boo hoo over f**k all,Let the man sell his mod.
