coldweld 65
If you are selling it for a WMR or 22 rf then you are breaking the law as you know! And site rules. And so is anyone fitting it to a rifle without the condition on their FAC . If you are selling it for a air rifle then that is ok . So Riohog should get an apology and be told the truth. I AM NOT BREAKING ANY LAW OR SITE RULES!! Once again you demonstrate your ignorance....you have mentioned IF a lot...well IF I smacked you in the face, then perhaps I would be breaking the law...forget IF and stick to the FACTS!!! I am selling a NON proof Moderator, NOT designed for a centrefire in a PRIVATE Sale! If the purchaser wants to put it on a .308, mix cement with it or beat their neighbour over the head with it, he is welcome, it is no concern of mine and I do not want to know his intentions.........I have no legal or moral requirement to advise the purchaser of the contents of the 1968 Firearms Act, Deer Act, Game laws, ASBO, Health and Safety Regulations, Road Traffic Act, Wildlife and Countryside Acts, etc, etc or any regulations that have anything to do with shooting! No FAC is required and any illegal action of the purchaser is down to the purchaser...END OF!!! Now kindly get back in your box and zip it!!! humperdingle 0
It's not on his FAC ticket. He needs to fill out NO paperwork to sell this item. If someone decides to break the law after the sale, he's not responsible for their actions. If an RFD were to sell it, then yes, if used on a firearm, it would need to be entered on a FAC. If an RFD were to sell for use on an air rifle, NO FAC is required. Maybe the mods should delete any posts on this particular thread regarding it's lack of suitability, and just leave the original post? I can understand why Deker is getting a bit tetchy.
