Stealthy, your right its a good piece of kit, I knock back the mark 3 all last year, even though I had them on the sheves in the shop this season I sold all my old grey boxes and took the plunge never looked back once you get used to using your eyes on the led display and not your ears with the clicking on the old grey box it all falls into place, and Ive found no more missing the tubes by inches and having to poke about in the side of holes you have dug, it's bang on every time

wanna come and show me how to use mine then??? :clapper:

Yeah ok! :D

Have you changed the batteries your locator came with?

No, what will need changing? collar or reciever batteries?

I found that the batteries that came free with the locator were a little under powered, so I changed mine and found that to make a major difference on the locate side of things, I also changed my collar batteries too, working along the lines that if the free locator battery was down on power, then so would the ones in the collars, try it, let me know how you get on, its a good excuse to go out with the fezzers. :D

May be a daft question John but have you read the instruction's my sound silly but the amount of lads I have had come back to the shop and say this new f#*~@# mark 3 is shite, one guy walked in with the collar in one hand and the instructions in the other and shouted that the collar didn't work and I have just paid £150 for a pile of crap, when I asked him if he had turned the collar on he sytarted to look for a button to switch it on with, so I took the collar of him put it in the packet and told him to go away read the bit of paper in his other hand and then come back tomorrow, I havn't seen him since, we men are famed for not looking at these bits of paper manufactures put in with the products they sell us
