whin 463 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Share Posted February 24, 2009 best ive had was colli grey type caut hares roe rabbit foxes in style could kill quick any were ,but a handful at times , there other types out there two ,but she was a star performer and in adiffrent league at times for all round work only dog ive had outside saluk type who could real graft on the big land but still sensible for other game, had bags of game for gamedealers and butchers alike with her , some dog ,but hard to reproduce Quote Link to post

He was strong dog, rabbits, fox,deer, no prob. Caught a few hares, he used find them him self, took them out the seat, not a hare coursing dog, but a feckin good bag filler. He would kill a fox quick, once he got bit a few times. In my eyes a good alrounder. Quote Link to post

mikecat1 0 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Share Posted February 24, 2009 if you fancy a pup have a look at labsandlurchers on this site, ive seen some good dogs in my time but is bull cross is as square as they come. the pair are like solid blocks of mussle and just had pups. if they had to they would stop trains and retreve lol he had 12 pups and has sold six but well worth the money, i need somthing with a bit of coat as i live 1500ft up in the mountains thats the only reason i havent had one.
