Recommended Posts

come on guys give him some slack i remember reading an artical in the daliy mail about a chap who shot garden foxes in london. If u have some thing to hide like a photo of you shooting dont f*****g offer. Its people like that who put the message across that were all hideing some thing. if you dont have a problem with it then go for it a photo of me shooting a rabbit, pigeon or fox could end up on the front page of the sun and i wouldnt give a toss because i stay with in the law.

couldnt have put it better :)

UNFORTUNATELY HIPPY MY FRIEND THE MAJORITY OF US ON HERE WHO HUNT SHOOT AND FISH IT IS A WAY OF LIFE , A PHOTO IS NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS ITS FOR LIFE , AND ITS FUNNY HOW TODAY STUDENT CAN SUDDENLY TURN INTO THRU STUDYING MEDIA IN UNI, THE NEXT RODGER COOK OR DONUT MCINTYRE , SO DON'T APOLOGIES WE ARE SUSPICIOUS FOR GOOD REASON AND IF WERE SUCH A GANG OF PRICKS GO FORTH AND FIND SOME WERE ELSE

My point was...people can tell someone something, disagree with someone, and even dislike someone without resorting to threats/bad language/rudeness and ignorance.

I certainly will appologise, as i am becoming more and more embarrassed at the way so called fellow hunters conduct themselves. Wether you like it or not, it is a relection of hunters/forum members in general, since the only people replying to posts now are those who want to start an argument.

My first ever post on a hunting forum about 10yrs ago was judged as being suspicious, i had never even heard of antis so did not realise the content of my post. I was told straight and learned my lesson, without anyone resorting to the crap we have to read on here. If Matthew had something to hide, he just needed to sit back and copy any of the dozens of illegal photos and text already printed on here

You are not the only person who's hunting exploits are a way of life, some of us want to preserve it and portray it in a good light. The crap written on here causes more damage than any photo of a couple shooting together ever would.

You seem to have taken my post personally, it was not directed at you! I was here a long time before any of the pricks invaded my friend, i think ive earned my right to say it as i see along with everyone else...dont you? :)

yep your a real old timer :o been here right from the start and watched this site develop , your opinions as valid as everyone elses ;)

No need to be rude fellas, Matthew many people will be wary as in the past help has been forthcoming only for it to be twisted and used to portray fieldsports in a negative light, good luck with your project.

first and for most i respect your comments as to wayward posts on this and any other pro hunting site , i this present time in and around the UK local and national press and media seem to be printing and airing articles about field sports in a bad light if you think this is a coincidence think again the lacs are very organized and have contacts thru out the press and general media there have been police raids and presence thruout the country at hunts etc , i am in no way condoning illegal activities , or wish do get involved in a slaging match , but when some one comes on asking for contacts to take photos in the present climate do you not agree its prudent to ask a few questions , the hunting debate has gone are way in resent times and the increased activity of the antis is apparent they need press coverage and they don't care witch route they follow to get it , beware men baring gifts or words to that effect , ;) Edited by gonetoearth

Well said. It's one thing to be wary, but another to be paranoid and abusive. And as Hippychick said, a few candid shots of people legally shooting aren't going to rock the boat anywhere near as much as some of the stuff posted on here would if it ever made the papers.
