Good pictures Glyn, I don't think I saw them before but who knows. I think I saw one of cb in a book, might have been, Llangollen show,. I was in rm yard a couple of times once and way after that era, he had a few strong Mungrel and border with a chocolate breed in it. A straight man

Would that be the same Mr Westmoorland who on a video said that you shouldn't dig to a terrier, you should wait for it to come out and then sit back waiting for the fox to bolt Pabs ????

Legends of the game ? And he standing beside a man who wouldn't breed of one who couldn't worry a fox regularly.

Nice pics though Glyn.

I've got no say on the man Neil, he be properly well out of it now, age, for a long time. I only ended up visiting his place then over 20 years ago because my friends, friend was living about 8 miles away and one morning I spoke with a woman walking her terrier and she told me and I went up there one day, he'd had hounds and one lurcher and a few different terriers, I did like the look of but not for sale. He was a bit in his own ways. But I don't know what he was about, heard a couple of known men say no praise on it

i cant take credit for the photos Sean Frain first posted them to advertise his new book , Neil you shouldn't be to bothered about little quotes or misquotes, these northern boys had a very quick dry humor, i've meet a few over the years and your never sure if they are imparting some knowledge to you or taking the piss .....as far as i'm concerned both men kept and breed the very best there was at their time i will always think highly of them because without their input i would not of owned bred and worked and had so many years of fun with terriers :)
