She's was 5 when she retired mate she was a gooden no matter how big of a stack of bails if there was a fox in there she would find it, agile bitch too dig to plenty in rabbit warrens etc, she was the most used bitch at the atherstone hunt at one time

Yes mate when she started to get abit old I gave her to a mate of mine that does a lot of foxes with his dogs in bails etc. The deal was I would mate her first to a real well known dog in Wiltshire and then I could keep a pup, my mate went to work and she had a full belly of pups came home from work her belly had gone down blood everywhere and no pups, she'd eaten the buggers I was gutted!

An old boy I know used to have a Park bitch and she did the same. Had 2 litters, she ate the first lot and the second were still born.

Yeah shame really mate, I had some good times with that bitch, a lot of other terrier lads I went out with hated her because if there dogs let them down walked out etc I'd put her in last and she never let me down, she would bay and bay but if something was being stubborn she would bully it to either bolt or into a stop end but the second that shovel broke through and she seen day light bang she would grab hold until you filled in behind her

Had a Nuttall bitch a few years back, very good digging bitch, mated her to a good Gould Nuttall dog she had six pups 3of each, by the next morning all that was left was a pair of back legs, she ate the lot! Gutted!
