Got a little rough bitch here down off her... showing good signs but she refused to go to a litter on a call out the other week(holes full up with dead game birds ,don't know if that put her off? Never had a dog do that to me before)

...So she's off to a keeper friend as a ratter.got a young black dog to try when season starts, kind offer of a dog on loan if im stuck and waiting on a pup won't be ready till season after next lol.don't really want to push it and use the old girl next season and tempt fate but could go that way...see what happens.what will be will be.got nothing here tested enough other than the old girl worthy of taking a litter from to be completely honest with you.atb dc

i think you find well mannered young terriers stock broken on mutton fur and feather often fail they get confused as what to do the hole smells of every thing they've been told to leave , very faint smell of something trained to get , and if the keeper or land owners not with so much better you've moved them on .

Someone I hold in high regards said the same thing to me...she showed no interest even when they were despatched and on top...just pickled me that's all,not good when you just travelled over 2/3 hrs to get there and the keepers stood round waiting for a result.thankfully the old girl was on hand to get it sorted.I will give her another try hopefully she comes good. Thank you for the replies gentlemen. Atb dc

I'll make a prediction DC if you give her to your keeper mate.

He'll ring you up some day to say that she's in a hole and needs to be dug to, LOL.

Not telling you what you already know but I agree with those who say it takes a certain terrier to deal with cubs and they're a big NO NO when it comes to pups IMO.
