More and more lads seem to be carrying more and more stuff on their back when hunting. Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 45,148
I can and do attach them to it-I won't lie to you neil...farmers normally take us to the earth's by quad and trailer lol.atb dc Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
OK, I suppose the days when there could be 5 or 6 lads on a dig (I've seen nearly 20, a few times) and everyone carried a tool or two are over. Now, it's one or two lads and as much as possible must be carried as conveniently as possible. In the last few years I've seen lads put great thought into carrying as much as possible as easily as possible. Here in Ireland quads and ATVs are largely impractical because our farms are much smaller. Apologies for going off topic, but always like to see other folks methods. Quote Link to post
Daniel cain 45,148
There's 4 of us most weeks neil-it pays to take a good selection of digging tools as once your up there ,its a killer going back down and back up if you forget something. Sharptooth and long graft are essential then everyone has a favourite shovel or in my case 3 lol.big bag of food and drinks for us and dogs, first aid kit, headtorches and cartridges for the gun, multiple collars and locators. Most days you not getting down till well after dark.atb dc 2 Quote Link to post
