Guest buster321c
You dont need a 400 m lamp for airguns mate , a logun lamp will do fine to 40 - 50 yds , just look to get a bargain , thats all . Although i do have a deben tracer , and a logun , i dont really worry which one to use , its generally which one i grab first . Quote Link to post

The long and the short of this outcome is my mate is going to buy a new lamp like mine and have done with it. The logun may be useful for ratting in grain sheds but that's it! For rabbits it was totally useless Quote Link to post
milo2005 0
uttings deben max eith dimmer £100 brand new with free red filter http://www.uttings.com/ Quote Link to post
Guest oldskool
if it were me i'd be aiming for something with a dimmer switch and high power... at least if you walk into a big field you can have a good scan round to see whats about... i had the tracer mini 100meter and it was useful enough but i wasted alot of time walking around the fields to try and spot something in the short beam Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Everyone has an opinion, a view and a use, but I struggle to understand how Logan stay in business with their lamp...it really is appalling. Uttings do a very good deal on a Tracer Mini and Max PRO kit (both with everything you need) and a dimmer switch. Always get a bit more than you think you want, that way you will not be disappointed and get a bit of future proofing as well!! Quote Link to post
