The fixed lens fujifilm camera won't hack it I'm afraid as it will still suffer from shutter lag. I'd suggest you have a look at the cheaper Canon and Nikon cameras, but Sony are doing some reasonable models too. Far as image quality and speed of processing there's not much to choose between the brands really. Canon do an EOS 1000D which is around £300 brand new, but you would need to buy a lens too. Nikon and Sony DSLRs can be bought new for less complete with lenses. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
